About volunteerincayman

Volunteering in Cayman has always worked by word of mouth. If you knew someone at a charity, you found a way in; if you didn’t, you probably never heard about the roles that needed filling. Meanwhile organisations with real need struggled to reach past their own mailing lists.

This site exists to close that gap. It does two things: it lists every volunteer position we can find across the islands, and it maintains a directory of every charity, non-profit and community group in Cayman — whether or not they have anything advertised right now.

Organisations can claim their page and manage it themselves, free. Volunteers can browse, filter and get in touch without creating an account.

Cayman Islands only

We list Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, and nothing else. We don’t carry off-island organisations, we don’t aggregate from overseas websites, and we have no affiliation with any group outside the Cayman Islands.

How the directory is built

Directory pages come from the Cayman Islands non-profit register, organisations’ own public information, and suggestions from the public. Where we list a position that’s advertised elsewhere, we store a short summary and link straight to the source rather than republishing anyone’s advert.

If something about your organisation is wrong or out of date, claim the page and fix it — or tell us and we’ll sort it.
