About

The Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association (CIASA), formerly the Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association, was incorporated in 1986 to administer and promote aquatic sports in the Cayman Islands. It is the recognised national governing body for competitive swimming, open water swimming, diving, high diving, water polo and synchronised swimming, and is affiliated with FINA, UANA, CCCAN, CARIFTA, the Island Games Association of the Cayman Islands and the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee. Its work includes sanctioning meets, national championships, open water events, clinics and camps, representative teams, technical officials and athlete protection. Decisions are made by the Board of Directors and carried out by members on a volunteer basis.
