About

Autism Cayman is a non-profit organisation established in February 2024 to promote autism acceptance in the Cayman Islands and to provide community-based support, information and advocacy for autistic people and their families or carers. It was founded by autistic allies and parents of autistic individuals, and works with an Autism Committee that includes autistic members. Its 2025 campaign involves surveys and focus group consultations with the community, service providers, educators and Government to identify the needs of autistic individuals and their families, with the data used to shape future services.
