CARE (Cayman Care) is an animal welfare charity founded in 2008 by volunteers to prevent cruelty and reduce suffering among domestic animals in the Cayman Islands. It runs free spay and neuter clinics and appointments for dogs and cats, including transport where needed, operates a trap-neuter-return programme for feral cats, and delivers community education on responsible pet ownership. Working district by district with veterinary partners, the Department of Agriculture and other community partners, CARE supports animals, pet owners and carers, with the aim of a no-kill Cayman Islands where shelters are not at capacity. Support can be given through donations, partnership and raising awareness.
