About

The Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA), known as Cayman Athletics, was founded in 1978 as the Cayman Islands Amateur Athletic Association and took its current name in 2021. It runs track and field competition locally, publishing a calendar, meet results, qualification standards and national records. The Association is affiliated with World Athletics, NACAC and the Central American and Caribbean Athletic Confederation, and is a member of the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee. Its athletes have competed at events including the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, PanAm Games, Island Games, Carifta Games and World Under 20 Championships.
