The Cayman Islands Field Hockey Federation is the islands' field hockey club, open to skilled players, complete beginners and those returning after a break. It traces its origins to 1981 and was accepted into the International Hockey Federation in 1988, and is part of the Pan American Hockey Federation. The club now plays on astroturf pitches and fields full Men's and Women's XIs, with two regular mixed games each week and a Women's training session on Wednesday evenings. Players tour to other countries in the region and host visiting teams in Cayman, including regular series with the Jamaica Hockey Federation.
