About

The Cayman Islands Gymnastics Association (CIGA) is the national governing body for gymnastics in the Cayman Islands, responsible for overseeing, regulating and promoting the sport across the islands. Established in 2006, it is recognised by the Cayman Islands Government and the Cayman Islands Olympic Committee, and has been affiliated with the International Gymnastics Federation since 2013, alongside ties with the Pan American Gymnastics Union. These affiliations allow Caymanian gymnasts to compete under the Cayman flag at events including the Island Games, CARIFTA Gymnastics Championships, Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games, Youth Olympics, World Championships and Olympics. CIGA works to widen access to gymnastics, encourage healthy lifestyles among young people, and support athletes, families, coaches and officials.
