About

Cayman Islands Meals on Wheels provides free, hot, nutritious meals to between 330 and 350 seniors, homebound people and people with disabilities, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks a year. Meals are prepared in four community kitchens and delivered across all five districts of Grand Cayman by more than 130 volunteers, whose visits also help reduce isolation and support clients to remain independent at home. The organisation was formally established in 1997 under the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman and now delivers close to 80,000 meals a year. Plans are underway for a dedicated Meals on Wheels building to expand meal production, volunteer training and client care.
