About

The Cayman Islands National Museum is housed in the historic Old Courts Building in George Town, one of the few surviving nineteenth-century structures on the Islands. It holds cultural history, natural history and art collections, and presents permanent galleries alongside changing exhibitions such as Freedoms Imagined; Freedoms Won and Kiemanos: The Ira Thompson Collection. The Museum runs public events and programmes, including Mango Fest, and offers a membership scheme with access to exhibitions and special events. It opens Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 5pm, with free Saturday admission for residents of the Cayman Islands.
