Promoting triathlon in Cayman through organised events, competition and support for young local athletes
About
The Cayman Islands Triathlon Association (CITA) was founded in 1997 to promote triathlon in the local community through organised events and competition, and to support young local athletes. It holds over nine events each year, including the three-week Stroke & Stride series, Try This Tri and the Cayman Islands Duathlon, leading up to the Cayman Islands Triathlon. Proceeds from CITA events go towards building a network of coaches, investing in training and competition, and helping athletes represent Cayman overseas, with a portion donated to a designated charity. The association welcomes swimmers, cyclists and runners of all levels, and takes sign-ups from people wanting to volunteer.
