Non-profit association working to accelerate the Cayman Islands' transition to clean energy
About
The Cayman Renewable Energy Association (CREA) was formed in 2015 as a Cayman Islands non-profit working to accelerate the adoption of clean energy and energy efficiency. Recognised by the Cayman Islands Government as the consumer advocacy association for clean energy, it works with Government, regulators and utilities on policies and regulations, supports the growth of a competitive renewable energy sector, and informs the public on renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate change. Its members are volunteer advocates, businesses and non-profits, and the association is run by a volunteer board of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer elected annually. Membership is open to any individual, non-profit organisation or business supporting the transition to clean energy.
