Annual one-mile open water sea swim on Seven Mile Beach, with proceeds going to the Swim Free Program
About
The Flowers Sea Swim organises the annual Flowers One Mile Sea Swim, an open water race along Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman that starts at Royal Palms Beach Club and finishes at the Westin Grand Cayman. The event hosts almost 1,000 registered participants each year, ranging in age from 8 to 80 and in ability from first-timers to Olympians and world championship open water swimmers, with over $100,000 in cash and random prizes and a goody bag for every finisher. Shorter and longer affiliate races, including 10k and 7.5k events, are held on a separate day. All swim registration proceeds are donated to the Swim Free Program, and donations are also accepted.
