About

The Cayman Food Bank is a hunger-relief organisation working against hunger, malnutrition and poverty in the Cayman Islands. It relies on member organisations, known as network partners or non-profit social service food distributors, to distribute food to individuals, families and elderly people in critical need. The charity accepts food and supply donations as well as corporate support in the form of funds, equipment or time, and it seeks volunteers to coordinate and recruit fundraising teams, build community support and plan activities. It was founded by two local businessmen, Woody Foster and Reginald "Choppy" Delapenha.
