About

Hope For Today Foundation runs a transitional living programme for Caymanians and Cayman Status holders recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, providing alcohol- and drug-free housing on a supervised campus. The programme is built around a 12-step approach and combines a safe living environment with support, education and life skills aimed at independence and economic stability. Residents must have undergone treatment, be in aftercare counselling, attend a minimum of five 12-step meetings a week and follow house rules including random testing and curfews. The Foundation is a non-governmental, non-denominational coalition of volunteers and works with partner agencies including Caribbean Haven, the Department of Counselling, the Drug Rehabilitation Court and the National Drug Council. It welcomes volunteers and donors.
