LIFE Ltd. — 'Literacy is for Everyone' — is an independent charitable organisation founded in 2012 by members of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman Sunrise, with the mission of increasing literacy levels in the Cayman Islands. It runs supplementary literacy programmes and initiatives targeting language and communication skills among children and adults, including Thrive by Five, Paired Reading, Literacy Ladder, and community education and outreach. The charity also works to raise the quality of early years education in both private and public schools, and accepts donations of time, money and books. LIFE is governed by a trustee and an independent board of directors, and has an executive team covering education and outreach, book donations, and fundraising.
