About

The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps was founded in 1980 by Ms Olive Miller MBE and Ms Evelyn Andersen to care for the elderly, children and those in need in the Cayman Islands. The Corps has donated over $2 million to local organisations including the Pines Retirement Home, NCVO, Lighthouse School, Special Olympics Cayman, Inclusion Cayman, Jasmine Hospice Care, the Cayman Islands Humane Society and Cayman's ARK. Volunteers take part in monthly Jasmine bingo afternoons, water stations at community runs and walks, Earth Day clean-ups, Older Persons Day tea parties, the Pink Ladies Fashion Show and the Christmas Bazaar. PLVC is registered as a Non-Profit Organisation with the Cayman Islands Registrar.
