About

Project Purple is a non-profit organisation working towards a cure for pancreatic cancer and improved lives for patients, founded on 15 September 2010 by Dino Verrelli after his father's diagnosis. It funds research into early detection and curative treatments, runs a Patient Financial Aid programme covering daily living and medical costs, and sends Blankets of Hope care packages to people undergoing treatment. The organisation also raises awareness and shares patient stories through its podcast, YouTube channel and social media. Supporters can donate, fundraise, take part in running and endurance events, or take up volunteer positions.
