About
The Rotary Club of Central Cayman Islands received its charter from Rotary International on 30 October 1986 and is registered as a Cayman Islands non-profit organisation (NPO #232). The club runs and supports community projects locally and overseas, including its community bus shelter programme, Music Extravaganza, Junior Achievement, health screening, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Little Free Libraries, parks and recreation initiatives, crisis centre assistance, special needs and rehabilitation programmes, the Fred Speirs Debates, the Dr Bill Hrudey Science Fair, Take a Kid Fishing, vocational grants and MobiMat beach access. It also sponsors the Rotaract Club of Blue Cayman Islands and the EarlyAct Club at St Ignatius Primary School. Members meet every Tuesday at Saltwater Grill in George Town at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm start, and new members and visiting Rotarians are welcome.
