Sunrise Caring Association

About

Sunrise Caring Association was set up to advance and support the people, facilities and programmes of the Sunrise Adult Training Centre, and to act as a support network and information exchange for care providers of Sunrise clients. It holds quarterly meetings and events where parents, guardians, care providers and social workers can share what works and seek advice from professionals, and it raises funds for Sunrise programmes and facilities. Current fundraising aims include the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard scheme, additional speech therapy, a supported independent living pilot that began in January 2026, a Cayman Brac trip for clients and staff, and a proposed purpose-built day centre and residences. Committee roles are filled by volunteers, and donations can be earmarked to a particular programme.
