The Cayman Islands Esports Association is a not-for-profit national body that supports competitive video gaming at grassroots level, providing expertise and advice rather than acting as a governing body. It runs esports leagues, competitions, conventions and school workshops, and supports the annual GamersBay Video Game Tournament and Convention and E-League. The association works with schools, libraries and other educational establishments, and helps educate parents, teachers, media, policy makers and government about esports and its benefits. It has also selected players to represent the Cayman Islands at qualifying tournaments and regional championships, with all revenues going back into running the organisation and funding grassroots esports.
