About

The Fair Weather Foundation is a Cayman Islands charity working to celebrate the islands' maritime history and educate young Caymanians in Cayman's maritime traditions. Its central project is bringing the sailing vessel Fair Weather home and preserving her as a piece of Cayman's maritime heritage, supported by donations and a "Buy a Plank" scheme. The Foundation also runs an apprentice programme in partnership with Inspire Cayman Training, aimed at passing a lost tradition on to young people.
