Join the movement - become a volunteer Thunderstorms Netball Club is a registered non-profit organisation in the Cayman Islands, committed to creating positive opportunities for young players through netball. Our club supports the development of athletic skills, confidence, discipline, teamwork and leadership in a safe and encouraging environment. Volunteers are central to this work. Whether you can assist regularly or support a particular event, your time and experience can help us deliver well-organised training sessions and meaningful opportunities for young people.
Mission
The purpose (or objectives/aims) of the Thunderstorms Netball Club is to: • Conduct, promote, and administer the sport of netball in the local community. • Provide coaching, training, and competitive opportunities in netball for all members. • Foster the growth and development of netball, providing learning opportunities in a safe, equitable, and child-friendly environment. • Ensure a duty of care to all members and provide all services in a way that is fair and ensures equal treatment. • Promote the club within the local community and create strong links with local schools, clubs and other community groups. • Encourage lifelong participation in the sport, supporting players in their pathways to coaching, umpiring, and administration roles.
