About
The YMCA of the Cayman Islands is a charitable, non-profit organisation established in 2012, working in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. It runs summer and school-break day camps, after-school programmes, youth football and baseball/softball academies, and an adult co-ed softball league, alongside certification courses in CPR/AED, basic first aid and babysitting. Its mission is to help people reach their God-given potential by putting Christian principles into practice in ways that build healthy spirit, mind and body. The Y is run by corporate and programme staff with the support of a group of committed volunteers, and is governed by a board of directors.
