Apply to be a Volunteer

LIFE relies heavily on its enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers - our LIFE Force - who offer their time and effort to help run our literacy intervention programmes and other initiatives. Volunteering for LIFE can range from a one-off engagement to help collect and sort books, to involvement in the volunteer-staffed weekly Paired Reading Programme in government schools or sharing stories with small groups of preschool children. The Ministry of Education’s policy on volunteers (ED18) mandates that all school volunteers have a police clearance certificate and child protection training.
